What We Believe...
The entire Bible, in its original writings is verbally inspired by GOD, inerrant, infallible, and is of plenary authority. Cf. II Tim. 3:16—17; IIPeter 1:21. We believe that all of the Bible is for us, for our learning and example, however not all the Bible is directed to the church which is the Body of Christ. We believe that in Paul’s Epistles alone we find the doctrine, position, walk, and destiny of the church, the Body of Christ (Ephesians 3, Romans 11:13, Colossians 1:25-27).
There is ONE GOD, eternally existing in Three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Cf. Deut. 6:4; John 4:24; 10:30; Eph. 4:6.
THE PERSON OF JESUS CHRIST.
Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin, Mary, and is both True GOD and True Man. Cf. Luke 1:35; Phil. 2:6—9; Rom. 1:3—4.
THE HOLY SPIRIT.
The Holy Spirit is the Person Who convicts the world of sin, and Who regenerates, baptizes, seals, indwells, and enlightens the saved. Cf. John 16:8; Titus 3:5; I Cor. 12:13; Eph. 1:13, 17, 18; 3:16.
All men by nature are dead in their trespasses and sins, and are therefore unable to please GOD. Cf. Eph. 2:1-3; Rom. 8:7-8.
We believe in the vicarious, substitutionary death of the Lord Jesus Christ; that we have redemption and justification through His blood, the forgiveness of sin, by His death upon the cross; that His resurrection from the dead is full proof that sin’s debt was paid in full: and salvation is ours by grace, through faith apart from any works on our part (Ephesians 2:8-9, Titus 3:5, Romans 3:24-25, Romans 4:25). We believe that all who have by faith received the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior are eternally secure in Christ. (Ephesians 1:13-14, Romans 8:29-39)
All of the saved are eternally secure in Christ. Cf. Col. 2:9; 3:1—4; Phil. 1:6; Rom. 8:38-39.
In this present Dispensation we believe that the church, which is the Body of Christ, is a spiritual organism made up of all true believers in the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ (I Corinthians 12:12-14, Colossians 3:14-15, Ephesians 1:20-23). We believe that the historical beginning of the Body of Christ was in the mid-Acts period and began with the Apostle Paul before he wrote his first epistle.(I Thessalonians 2:14-16, I Corinthians 12:13 & 27)
THE LORD’ S SUPPER.
The Remembrance of the LORD’ S Supper, as revealed through the Apostle Paul in I Cor. 11:23-26, is for the members of the Body of Christ to observe, “until He comes.”
THE RAPTURE OF THE CHURCH AND THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST
We believe in the imminent rapture of the church, followed by the great Tribulation and the millennial reign of Christ on the earth (I Thessalonians 4:16-17, I Corinthians 4:13-18, Titus 2:13-15).
Christ will return to this earth at the end of the Great Tribulation when He comes in power and glory to establish His Millennial Kingdom. Cf. I Cor. 15:50—58; I Thess. 4:13 — 5:11; Eph. 3:1—12; Phil. 3:21; Rev. 19:11 — 20:10.
